Frequently Asked Questions After Buying an Apartment

Where to Follow the Construction Progress?

You can follow the construction progress on the official website of the developer or residential complex in the “Construction Progress” section, as well as on social media. We publish monthly photo updates and detailed written reports to keep you informed about each stage of the work.

When Will the Construction Be Completed? What Does the Certificate of Commissioning Mean?

The completion dates are stated in your contract. The construction is considered complete once the Certificate of Commissioning is obtained. This is an official government document confirming compliance with building regulations and readiness of the building for use.

Why Are Apartment Measurements Conducted? What If the Actual Area Differs From the Projected One?

The apartment is measured by BTI (Bureau of Technical Inventory) or a certified organization to determine the actual living area after construction is completed.

If the actual area differs from the projected one, an additional agreement is signed. Depending on the terms, you may receive a refund or be asked to pay the difference based on the actual area. The recalculation is done using the price stated in your contract.

When Can You Inspect the Apartment and Receive the Keys?

After the building is commissioned and all technical preparations are completed, representatives of the management company will invite you to inspect your apartment. You will be able to examine the property, check the quality of the work, and note any comments. After that, you will sign the handover act and receive your keys.

When and How to Register Ownership of the Apartment?

Once the handover act is signed, you can register your property rights. This can be done through a notary or at the nearest Administrative Services Center (CNAP). The developer will provide you with a full package of necessary documents. We will also offer step-by-step guidance or a consultation to help you through the process smoothly.

Who Will Manage the Building?

After commissioning, the building is transferred to the management company. It is responsible for cleaning, maintenance, resident communication, and utility payments. Details about the company will be provided additionally.
